The Hotel Frankfurter Hof was celebrating its 125 year anniversary and their signature restaurant, Francais, celebrated by offering an historic degustation menu - how could we refuse?

The atmosphere is wealth & it is first class in every way - from the crystal chandeliers that dominate the dining room to the impeccable staff. The degustation menu was surprising:



- Goose liver pate & almond bread
- Maine lobster with vegetables (shipped in daily)
- Baked chicken wrapped in baking paper & served at the table
- Pineapple sorbet
- Parmesan souffle

Everything was delicious and it wasn't too filling, so the petit fours with coffee went down a treat!
